HVC KYOTO 2024 welcomes entries for startups
Healthcare Venture Conference Kyoto (HVC KYOTO), a prominent Japanese platform for healthcare startups, is inviting entries for its 2024 pitch event.
HVC KYOTO, established through a partnership between JETRO, Kyoto Prefecture, Kyoto City, Kyoto Research Park Corp., and Kyoto University, aims to foster innovation by connecting startups with investors, business companies, and research institutions both in Japan and internationally.
Since its inception in 2016, HVC KYOTO has been at the forefront of creating an ecosystem where entrepreneurial minds and startups focusing on healthcare and related fields can showcase their ideas and projects. The conference has been pivotal in enabling these startups to seek partnerships, engage in joint research projects, and secure funding from both Japanese and overseas entities.
HVC KYOTO 2024 is particularly appealing for startups aiming to make a mark on the global stage. With all presentations at the Demo Day (8-9 July 2024) conducted in English, it represents a unique opportunity for Kyoto-based startups to reach an international audience.
Startups interested in participating are encouraged to apply for a chance to present their innovative solutions and connect with potential partners and investors. The event is also open to researchers aspiring to commercialise their findings, offering them a platform to attract investment and support.
The deadline for entry submissions is 28 March 2024, with more details available on the HVC KYOTO website. Late entries may also be accepted.
This call for entries comes on the heels of HVC KYOTO's recognition at the IASP World Conference 2023 in Luxembourg, where it secured third place in the Inspiring Solutions program - further underscoring its role in promoting innovative healthcare solutions on a global scale.
