An innovative and Brazilian funding scheme for AOIs and stratups: a regional growth model

The current meaning of competitiveness encompasses not only the performance excellence or the technical efficiency of the companies or products; CANONGIA [38]. In addition, it is important to develop a systematic approach to search for new opportunities and to over come technical and organizational obstacles through the production and application of knowledge. Without this profile, it is difficult for an organization, whether public or private, to remain itself sustainable. Innovation is a key element, as it is associated with the entrepreneurial vision, the technological support and the improvement of processes for the achievement or maintenance of competitiveness in the market. The present work was based on “the framework for a Creative Economy Promotion Program [41]” which aims to present a new investment strategy for the Brazilian AOIs.
