How São José Dos Campos Technology Park has Established Itself in the Development of Solutions for the Construction of Smart Cities

In 2022, the city of São José dos Campos was certified and accredited as the first smart city in Brazil. Based on this work, São José dos Campos Technology Park has established itself in the development of solutions for the construction of smart cities. 

In partnership with the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT) and the Municipal Government of São José dos Campos, the Technology Park has produced the National Mapping of Solutions for Smart Cities, a diagnosis of the municipality stance considering ISO standard indicators for smart cities. 

With a team dedicated to this project, the Technology Park played a fundamental role in the connection with the Government, in seeking the necessary evidence to confirm the indicators required by ABNT. Hence, the positive result leads the way so the Technology Park builds partnerships with other cities in Brazil.
