Wadi Jeddah Company, established in 2010, is a public company in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Owned by King Abdulaziz University, it is situated in a 1,300-square-metre area of the university campus. Wadi Jeddah aims to develop the knowledge economy through investment in manufacturing and transferring technology, nationalising and developing it, and investing in patents, intellectual rights, and industrial models. It also supports economic activities and knowledge industries. Nine companies and subsidiaries from the education, pharmaceutical, medical appliances, and investment sectors operate under Wadi Jeddah. They run various sustainable and social projects in Jeddah, including the International Electronic Care Company, an extended care hospital, and a mall. Wadi Jeddah also has a venture fund for investing in early-phase startups, aiming to assist companies using creative and technology-based work models that can achieve high revenues.
