Associação Parque de Ciência e Tecnologia Almada/Setúbal - Madan Parque

The Madan Park is a science and technology park established in 1995 in Caparica, Portugal. The Park has been active since the beginning of the year 2000; operating primarily as a platform for interaction, co-operation and innovation between academia and business. The core activities are the promotion of NTBFs and to aid in their acceleration, as well as the promotion and development of knowledge intensive projects in the region. The Madan Park operates a technology - based incubator, whose role is going to be a facilitator and accelerator towards its incubated companies, in particular concerning its internationalization.

The Madan Parque provides a multitude of services in 5 key business areas, including: incubation, coaching, seed capital, international support services for internationalization and cooperative projects and laboratories. The main objective is to stimulate the creation of NTBFs affiliated to various scientific areas, which take advantage of the physical proximity of FCT-UNL (Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Lisbon) , which is the most important shareholder of Madan Parque.
