40 Years as a Science Park – Linkoping Science Parks Different Phases and Methods to Meet Megatrends to Continue To Be a Relevant Socia Actor

The development of Linköping Science parks through our four decades goes hand in hand with global megatrends, where the Science park's role is to move between academia, society, and business, triple helix. However, in addition to being intermediate, a Science park must actively capture important megatrends and technological paradigm shifts. This paper examines what history has taught us and provides a start for a theoretical model for the constant renewal of Science parks to face essential megatrends.
