Technopark Morocco

Technopark Morocco is based across three different sites in Casablanca, Rabat and Tangiers, in the Kingdom of Morocco. Committed to a strategy of regional duplication of its model, Technopark opened first in Casablanca in 2001, then in Rabat in 2012 and in Tangiers in 2015, and plans a future opening in 2019 2020 in Agadir. Technopark Morocco’s mission is to assist in the creation and development of companies in the ICT, Green Tech and cultural industries in Morocco. The Technopark management company, MITC is the result of a public-private partnership and is responsible for managing Technopark Morocco. So far in the years since its creation, MITC has supported nearly 900 innovative companies in Casablanca, more than 150 in Rabat and 100 companies in Technopark Tangier. The Technopark today is permanently home to over 300 Moroccan start-ups and SMEs, nearly 2,500 employees with an average age of less than 30 years, and is responsible for more than 10% of the national ICT turnover (excluding telecom) and a natural turnover of more than 60 new starts up each year.
