A Shanghai Caohejing Hi-tech Park company has won two awards at the Asian Association of Business Incubation awards, which were held on November 30th.
Xiangxiang, a portfolio company of Caohejing Hi-tech Park’s CHJ Innovation Center, won the Torch Award for Internationalization and Torch Award for Best Nominee (Chinese Mainland) in a ceremony to mark the 20th Anniversary of the Asian Association of Business Incubation (AABI), which recognises both incubators and entrepreneurs.
Founded in 2002, the association is a multilateral network of business incubation that focuses on building a collaboration framework to support innovation and entrepreneurship in the Asia-Pacific region. For 20 years, it has evolved into a large and vibrant innovation network, connecting 26 members from 19 countries and regions such as Thailand, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia and more, with useful links with more than 5,000 incubators in APAC.
Led by CEO and founder Liao Qingxin, Xiangxiang is a returnable and reusable logistics packaging solution provider. Powered by cutting-edge technologies such as IoT, cloud computing, and AI, the company works hard to help reduce the carbon footprint for its clients.
The CHJ Innovation Center General Manager Haofeng Lai attended the anniversary celebration and congratulated Xiangxiang for the awards. As the first winner of AABI incubator award, CHJ Innovation Center has cumulatively incubated a total of 1702 enterprises, among which 26 have gone public. Since 2019, CHJ Innovation Center also carried out several cross-border acceleration programs within the AABI framework.
