Voyager Technologies continues to expand Nanoracks' George Washington Carver (GWC) Science Park – the first ever science park in space – with the addition of Space LiinTech, a South Korean company pioneering space-based biopharma research.

As the world’s first science park dedicated to in-space research and manufacturing, GWC Science Park serves as a hub for cutting-edge innovation, industry collaboration, and space technology development. Space LiinTech, which focuses on leveraging microgravity for drug discovery, will benefit from the park’s technical support, venture capital access, and research infrastructure. The company will also facilitate South Korean partnerships in space research within the GWC Science Park network.

“Our mission is to build an ecosystem where business and research thrive together”, said Hargsoon Yoon, CEO of Space LiinTech. Voyager’s Jeffrey Manber emphasized that GWC Science Park is designed to drive collaborative advancements in medicine and technology, strengthening its role as a premier centre for space innovation.

Beyond enabling international cooperation, the GWC Science Park will continue supporting workforce development, STEM education, and microgravity research, utilizing its ground-analog laboratory to parallel space-based experiments and train scientists for in-orbit research.

We are excited about the ongoing developments at GWC Science Park and we hope you continue to watch this space for updates about this pioneering park.
