IASP Global Survey 2022: The Impact of Covid-19 on AOIs and STPs

The International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP) has an extensive international network of innovation ecosystems, and is ideally placed to study and examine the current trends and figures at a worldwide. In order to obtain this data for analysis IASP periodically conducts surveys and research within the industry of areas of innovation and science & technology parks ( AOIs/STPs). This extract from the statistical report, based on data gathered during 2021, gives a clear analysis, on the effects of COVID-19 on our industry, exploring the ways in which AOIs/STPs adapted, support they gave to resident companies and the ways in which management teams adjusted, and the economic impact of the pandemic.
