The Techno-Z Office Home – Creating an Environment for Innovation and Cooperation by a Scientifically Substantiated Shared Office Workplace Concept for SMEs

The Techno-Z Office Home is a new workplace concept currently implemented at a new 10.000 m2 tech-park location in the south of Salzburg.

The concept was developed on the basis of a doctoral thesis (by Dr. Werner Pfeiffenberger, MBA/Techno-Z), which analyses the understanding of the term and the demand for facility management (FM) as well as the outsourcing of facility services (FS) within the group of SMEs. The results are compared to the supply situation. A special focus is placed on FS related to the quality of workplace and the well-being of employees as main success factors for SMEs in the "war for talent". One need-specific solutions to close the gap between supply and demand is the Techno-Z Office Home, a shared office concept that creates an ecosystem for innovation and cooperation, where SME can concentrate on their core business and people working for them stay healthy and happy.
