Sao Paulo Innovation District
The Innovation District of São Paulo is an ambitious urban initiative designed to foster collaboration and innovation in science and technology. Located in the west zone of São Paulo, it spans 508 hectares, with significant portions dedicated to green and built areas. The district is a hub for advanced research and is a joint initiative of the University of São Paulo, the Butantan Institute, the Institute of Energy and Nuclear Research, the Institute of Technological Research, São Paulo Research Foundation, the City of São Paulo, and the State of São Paulo.

-Innovation Ecosystems: There are open innovation environments that encourage collaboration and entrepreneurship. This includes incubation programs for 300 companies, acceleration programs, and fabrication labs (fablabs).
