42nd IASP World Conference on Science Parks and Areas of Innovation

The 42nd IASP World Conference on Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP 2025) will be held in Beijing, China, from 16-19 September 2025.

Hosted by Zhongguancun Science Park (Z-Park), the conference will explore the theme: "Elevating excellence: Innovation spaces driving high-quality development."

With the rapid development of science and technology and the advancement of economic globalization, science parks, innovation districts, areas of innovation and other organised innovation spaces with their multitude of big and small companies and diversity in sectors have significant advantages and enormous potential in fostering innovation, driving the application of scientific and technological advances, and facilitating industrial upgrading. They play a crucial role in building regional innovation capabilities, improving the industrial structure, and promoting employment. Today, innovation spaces worldwide are focused on driving the economy towards higher-quality development that is more efficient, equitable, sustainable, and secure.
