New President at Isfahan Science and Technology Town

IASP is pleased to welcome Dr. Mehdi Abtahi, the new president of Isfahan Science and Technology Town, to our international network!

He takes over from Dr. Mehdi Keshmiri, who has been promoted to Vice Deputy Minister of Science, Research and Technology, where he will manage the policy making and planning for technology affairs.

Dr. Mehdi Abtahi is a Faculty member of the Civil Engineering Department of Isfahan University of Technology (IUT), who received his B.S. in Civil Engineering and his Masters and Ph.D. in Civil Transport and Transportation from Iran University of Science and Technology. He has had more than 70 published articles in national and international scientific publications and conferences, has authored three books and is the patent holder of five different inventions. 

He will continue ISTT’s focus on improving services to resident companies and helping them grow, as well as attracting new international companies and developing the park’s global relations.
