Solutions and programmes to inspire colleagues

Inspiring Solutions is IASP's knowledge sharing initiative which puts the IASP quality seal on innovative ideas in science park and area of innovation management, builds up a global library of best practices, and seeks to inspire other members. This year we received a total of 24 entries from across the world, from which an expert panel selected 10 finalists. IASP members then voted for their three favourites. 

The names were announced by Deepanwita Chattopadhyay, CEO of IKP, who kindly sponsored this year’s awards ceremony. The Gala Dinner, set as a night under the stars in an open air setting provided plenty of sparkle to these bright ideas. 

The three winners, as voted for by IASP members around the world, are: 

In first place: Bilisim Vadisi, Türkiye, “Robotaxi Passenger Autonomous Vehicle Competition”. A competition fostering technological innovation by engaging university and high school teams in developing autonomous driving technologies. It enhances participants' skills and career prospects while contributing to Türkiye's technology ecosystem and connecting young talent with industry professionals. Read more about it. 

In second place: National Science and Technology Park, Pakistan, "Rising Stars Startup Competition”. A competition promoting diversity in the innovation ecosystem by supporting marginalised and underrepresented entrepreneurs, including women and minority groups. The program provides training, mentorship, networking, and seed funding, increasing representation and fostering an inclusive entrepreneurial environment.  

In third place: La Salle Technova Barcelona, Spain, “SDG's Challenges”. An initiative engaging university students in developing entrepreneurial projects aligned with the UN SDGs. Using the Candy Innovation Model, students work in multidisciplinary teams, fostering social consciousness, creativity, and collaboration, with industry mentors and companies supporting the initiative. Read more about it.
