Accelerating Future Skills within an Innovation Ecosystem and Across a City

Innovation is built into the DNA of Here East and the Olympic Park in which we sit. To deliver on the legacy of the London Olympics and Paralympics, we are committed to driving job creation, access to education and inclusive community initiatives. We have carefully curated a community at Here East that encourages collaboration across a diverse community of academic institutions, fast-growth technology-enabled businesses and global corporates. Currently we’re home to 4,500 innovators, creatives and academics. This collaboration unlocks pathways into digital careers for local people. This year marks the tenth anniversary of 2012 Games. As we look towards the next 10 years, we are growing this collaboration philosophy and increasing the innovation scope across the Olympic Park. We are delighted to announce the next chapter in the Park’s story – SHIFT. SHIFT is a Park-wide innovation programme and partnership that uses the Park as a real word testbed to enable better urban futures.
