Strategy for the Deployment of New Forms of Sustainable Mobility in the Cartuja STP

The Cartuja STP constitutes an authentic city in itself of 200 hectares (Image 1), where 523 companies and entities coexist and nearly 23,000 people work. The eCitySevilla 1 project proposes the development of a city model in an open, digital, decarbonized and sustainable ecosystem in 2025, reaching the energy and climate objectives established for 2050 by twenty-five years ahead.

In relation to mobility, the eCitySevilla project seeks to encourage sustainable models, with more space for pedestrians and cyclists and promoting the use of electric vehicles due to a new network of recharging infrastructures.
