Background information

Entreprendre Sherbrooke is the paramunicipal economic development organization in Sherbrooke. It is mainly funded by "Ville de Sherbrooke"  through the Economic Development Department.

The organization supports businesses from all sectors of activity, at all stages of maturity. Its industrial and technological sector focuses on six key sub-sectors: Quantum Technologies, Advanced Manufacturing, Cleantech, Life Sciences, Information Technologies, and Micro-Nanotechnologies, which are home to more than 680 companies and recognised research institutes employing nearly 23,000 people.

Sherbrooke comprises 2 science parks, 5 industrial parks and a technological park, bringing together private and public research centres, high R&D content businesses, and university faculties, all served by high performance transportation links.

Services for resident companies and entrepreneurs include, among others: the Espace LABz multi-tenant science centre with private and shared labs, the Espace Innovation coworking space for innovative tech companies with high growth potential, and the Entrepreneurship Headquarters (QG), a building  which brings together many partners  who provide a range of services to entrepreneurs and  offers dedicated coworking and rental spaces.

Entreprendre Sherbrooke also provides: business coaching and financing, mentorship programme, workshops, and commercial dynamization services.
