The Technological Innovation Park of the Center for Biological Research of the Northwest, S.C otherwise known as “BioHelis” is a science and technology park located in La Paz, Mexico. BioHelis

develops and manages technology and innovation projects in aquaculture, biotechnology, fisheries, agriculture and sustainable development. Biohelis works in collaboration with the National Council of Science and Technology, and the Government of the State of Baja California Sur.

BioHelis® generates, based on scientific knowledge, new products, processes, or services of high value for the national and international market, improving competitiveness of Mexican companies. The Technological Innovation Park of the Center for Biological Research works to contribute with social responsibility to bring Mexico to its full potential through the generation and dissemination of frontier knowledge, innovation and training of scientists and experts in the field of biological sciences and in the use, management and preservation of natural resources.

Biohelis hopes to be the public research center that makes the greatest contribution to the sustainable economic and social progress of Mexico, especially the Northwest, through the generation of scientific knowledge, the training of high-level human resources, technological development and innovation in the field of science biological and in the use, management and preservation of natural resources.
