Speaking opportunities at IASP Beijing

From September 16 to 19, 2025, Zhongguancun Science Park, in collaboration with the Beijing Municipality, will host the 42nd IASP World Conference in China. The conference theme is "Elevating excellence: innovation spaces driving high-quality development".

The Call for Contributions is open, inviting experts, professionals, and researchers in Science and Technology Parks (STPs), Areas of Innovation (AOIs), and Innovation Districts (IDs) worldwide to submit paper proposals for an opportunity to present at IASP Beijing. The submission deadline is February 26, 2025 and the registration platform will be open to start submitting papers from next week.

This theme invites authors to highlight, explain, and explore how innovation spaces act as catalysts for excellence, demonstrating how these environments empower creativity, facilitate collaboration, and lead to sustainable and impactful outcomes. It offers an opportunity to share how organisations, projects, or research contribute to a world where excellence is continuously redefined and pursued.

The rapid advancement of science, technology, and economic globalisation has positioned organised innovation spaces—such as science/technology parks, innovation districts and areas of innovation —as pivotal in fostering innovation, applying technological advancements, and facilitating industrial upgrades. These ecosystems significantly contribute to regional innovation, industrial enhancement, and employment. Currently, they are steering the economy toward development that is efficient, equitable, sustainable, and secure.

Alongside AOI, ID and STP managers, all innovation professionals in general are welcome to make contributions to this conference, where we will debate the latest trends in our industry’s increasingly complex structures for professional innovation support.

This is not just the opportunity to speak - for any paper approved, it is also the opportunity to have your paper included in the proceedings and gain visibility within our network both online and in our knowledge repositories.
