IASP member MIND (Italy) consolidates its global outlook by carrying out events in the context of MOUs signed with fellow IASP innovation ecosystems in China and Japan.

In early September this year, MIND partners shared their vision and projects in an online event with the TusHoldings, the holding company of TusPark, China. The online event took place over two days, each dedicated to one of MIND’s two verticals (life sciences and smart cities). After the introduction of the Lombardy Region and the Municipality of Milan, participants heard from Herbert Chen, Senior Executive Vice President of Tus-Holdings Co. and Past President of IASP, Wang Yuanhua, Deputy Director of the Nanjing Science and Technology Bureau; and Tang Hao, Managing Director of the Jiangsu Tuspark Research Institute; Chenyun Qian, Project Manager of the Medicine Valley Development Office.

Later in the month a delegation from Kyoto Research Park (KRP), Japan, visited MIND. Arexpo’s Japanese partner, represented by Shojiro Oka, Managing Director, and Shigekata Mizuno, Adviser for public and international cooperation, was welcomed by the district partners. The KRP will also host a delegation from MIND in October.
