Zhongguancun Science Park - Tongzhou Park
Zhongguancun Science Park - Tongzhou Park is a hub for technological innovation in Beijing Municipal Administrative Centre (BMC) and part of the Zhongguancun National Innovation Demonstration Zone. It focuses on the digital economy and advanced manufacturing, along with urban technology, cyber security, healthcare, and smart construction.
Established in January 2006, Tongzhou Park spans 14.5 square kilometres, with 11.41 square kilometres developed. It hosts 498 companies, including 106 high-tech enterprises, and features three incubators with 70 start-ups. Key sectors include optic-mechanical integration, environmental protection, new energy, and high-end equipment manufacturing.
The park has strategic partnerships with the Capital University of Economics and Business and the School of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Science and Technology Beijing, with more collaborations underway. Located in Beijing's eastern industrial development, Tongzhou Park is vital to the Bohai Economic Zone. With an investment of 2.2 billion yuan in infrastructure, it offers a prime environment for production, research, and business, benefiting from policies that support industrial growth and attract top talent.
