New President for Isfahan Science and Technology Town (ISTT)

Isfahan Science and Technology Town (ISTT) has welcomed its new President, Dr Seyed Mehdi Abtahi as of last month. 

Appointed by H.E. Dr Hossein Simaei Sarraf, Dr Seyed Mehdi Abtahi holds a PhD in Civil Enginnering and is an associate professor at the Isfahan University of Technology in the Faculty of Civil Engineering. 

Having published over 130 journals, Dr Abtahi brings a promising expertise to the ISTT presidency. His executive experience includes his presidentship at the Isfahan University of Technology, Vice president for Student Affairs and Culture, and Vice President for Research and Technology at the University. 

Dr Abtahi regains the presidency position at ISTT after holding it previously in 2018. Congratulations to Dr Seyed Mehdi Abtahi on the position!

In other ISTT news, Mozghan Yazdianpour, Director of International & Scientific Cooperation, has been appointed to the BRICS STI Incubation Network International Advisory Committee. The Committee allows for the members to be key innovation contributors globally, leading to enterprises to participate in the growing global economy. The BRICS STI Incubation Network presents a chance to contribute to scientific cooperation internationally, promoting technological advancements and development.
