Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo (Autonomous University of Hidalgo State) and “ILAN” Israel – Latin America Network A.C. signed a general collaboration agreement.

“ILAN” Israel Latin America Network is a non-profit foundation that drives innovation in Latin–America, linked to Israel, in order to improve people's lives, as well as to recognise and encourage, university students and entrepreneurs with outstanding innovations, creating a network of connections. Among its activities are the ILAN awards, a space for the recognition of innovative talents which could inspire others, and which help the projects receive the necessary support to continue with their innovation process. They are currently present in seven countries. “UAEH” Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo, is a decentralized and autonomous public entity whose purposes are teaching, research, creation, preservation and dissemination of culture .

Both entities entered into a mutually beneficial general collaboration agreement signed on May, 22, 2024, which will embark on the coordination and implementation of plans, programs, projects and actions to identify, support, and promote young university students'
projects.

Students will be able to participate in Calls for the innovation competition as well as having access to high-impact technologies to carry out university innovation projects, create links with the Israeli innovation ecosystem, and have enhanced visibility of innovation projects. This agreement and related actions will allow the promotion and strengthening of innovation projects of young university students via bilateral cooperations and joint growth.
