Advancing knowledge in the AOI/ID/STP industry
At the heart of IASP’s mission is a commitment to enabling knowledge exchange and research in the Area of Innovation (AOI), Innovation District (ID), and Science Park (STP) industry. In line with this goal, IASP will be looking to consolidate activities and service offerings relating to enriching the knowledge-sharing activities within our industry, with sector specific surveys, improvements to existing tools, as well as exploring how best to leverage current trends and latest technologies.
An inviting lineup of international events in 2025
Looking ahead, IASP is preparing an exciting series of events to bring together members, partners, and global stakeholders in the AOI/ID/STP industry.
A key highlight is the 42nd IASP World Conference, set to take place in Beijing, China, from the 22nd to the 25th of September 2025. Additionally, IASP will host regional division events in key locations, including Argentina, Canada, Italy, and Saudi Arabia. These events will provide valuable opportunities for knowledge sharing and collaboration within regional innovation ecosystems.
Global collaboration continues to thrive
With international cooperation as a cornerstone of IASP, the association ensures that diverse regions are well-represented within its governance structure. This is reflected in both the International Board of Directors and IASP regional divisions, which actively continue to shape the network’s strategic direction. As this year’s meeting came to a close, the members remain steadfast in their commitment to making IASP’s mission come to fruition and to promote the global collaboration that is a core tenet of the association.
Strengthening local and global leadership ties
During the meeting, our International Board had the pleasure of being welcomed to Malaga by the President of Malaga TechPark and Minister of Economy, Finance, and European Funds of the Regional Government of Andalusia, Carolina España. This visit built an even deeper connection between our association and the local innovation ecosystem. Her perspective on regional advancements and opportunities for collaboration enriched our discussions, highlighting the critical role of local-global partnerships in driving innovation. This exchange underscored our dedication to knowledge sharing and strategic collaboration, something that is key in developing a unified vision for advancing innovation spaces worldwide.
