January 'Question of the Month' results are in
The first question of the month results of the year are now available!
The question for January 2025 was: “Does your AOI/ID/STP have any ISO certifications?”
ISO certifications are credentials validating that a business or organisation has fulfilled quality process requirements set by the International Standards Organisation. The non-governmental entity’s specifications are often valuable in matters of international business and trade, with certification being done through external bodies. These certifications establish credibility, ensure operational excellence and enhance global collaboration.
In the query to the IASP network, 85.7% of respondents stated that they do not have any ISO certifications, with 64.3% specifying that they are, however, interested in being certified. Responses with ISO certifications made up less than 15% of the total provided.
ISO certifications can help innovation spaces maintain high standards, improve operational efficiency, and gain global recognition. They are particularly valuable for attracting top-tier research institutions, fostering innovation, and ensuring sustainability, security, and safety.
