Objectives

Startups and SMEs embarked on an exciting journey to promote solutions that supported the green and sustainable transition, with their initiatives being recognized as one of Europe’s 100 most innovative solutions. These businesses had the unique opportunity to travel aboard the world’s first large sail-powered cargo ship, Canopée, showcasing their commitment to sustainability and innovation on a global scale. This adventure highlighted their role in shaping a greener future while gaining international exposure and connecting with a broader network of like-minded innovators.

The call for solutions was promoted by IASP (International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation) and EBN (European Business and Innovation Centre Network), and implemented in partnership with:

  • local authorities: Nantes Métropole and the city of Saint-Nazaire;
  • ADEME (Environment and Energy Management Agency);
  • Atlanpole
