Maker Greenovation Ecosystem bridges the gap between human and nature. It helps good ideas for sustainable innovative products, services and processes that protect the environment become fully-fledged prospects, and enhance the cocreating the future by citizen power.

We would start with raising awareness, cultivating concepts, supporting and solving creative problems using innovation on environmental awareness. We would focus on the importance of building all generations of people throughout the process of practical learning and the refinement of people in the group or community, including booth camp activities which can help to create a new business and expand business capability in the future.

With this solution, we can build up people and create a Greennovation network in our region. These people will pass on the process to other groups and communities in an attempt to support communities to be more creative, effective and effectiveness in managing their local environment. Therefore, this solution will be a strong foundation that can convey our learning anywhere in the world in the future. It is important to state that the process can be driven along with the power of alliances around us including, public and private sectors, educational institutions, communities, and regional science parks. The beneficial impacts could be found in the increase in number of innovations patents numbers of scientific publications and the increase in percentage changes in eco-efficiency and resource productivity.

Khon Kaen University Science Park has been engaged in business incubation program since 2004. The Business Technology Incubator (TBI) clearly focuses on incubating an enterprise with high or advanced technology content and offers comprehensive services. There is also function of complex services and special environment provided fosters the innovation process and contains the mechanisms and services that transmit the impacts for start-up enterprises with the aim of their chance of survival in early phase of life span and establishing their late intensive growth. In the past, our program did not focus on one area clearly. In this project we started by using the process that we have always done and improved. We called five BAO model (5B-5A-5O) consist of brain power, build idea & research, booth camp, build startup and business scale up. The 5b model is derived from 5 activities which are inspiration activity, playground and prototyping, demo day, pitching and incubate activity by science park program. Then focus on innovation on the environment. Finally, we get 5 results as follows 1. Mindset outcome is creative thinking of people. 2. Experience outcome from self-creation or invention. 3. Community outcome that create new things related to environmental preservation. 4. Creating a greennovation business. 5. The development of green society impact.

Maker Greenovation Ecosystem, is designed to alliances between public and private sectors, educational institutions, communities, and regional science parks. In which the Science Park is a central mechanism for linking each sector and is an important intermediary in the operational drive to lead with green innovation.

Khon Kaen University is responsible for creating both academic and business values for the Khon Kaen University community, which consists of faculty members, service laboratories, researchers, student, and alumni entrepreneurs. KKUSP is responsible for facilitate technology transfer of the University by: Supporting new entrepreneurs who starting STI Businesses by being mentor Inspiring and motivating new entrepreneurs. Innovative business training and consulting. Connecting new entrepreneurs to business networks. Facilitate intellectual properties of the university. The efforts are based on three fundamental elements: enhancing academic freedom, providing a clear pathway to pursue technology commercialization, and protecting all interested parties.
