The Role of Isfahan Science & Technology Town in Implementing Green and Digital Changes to Tackle Climate Change

Global warming, temperature rise, pollutions, low precipitation and rainfall, destruction of the Ozone layer, desertification and other environmental issues are no longer a threat, but reality, which calls for the development of new technologies that are developed well in innovation ecosystems including science and technology parks. Iran is also among those countries that is experiencing climate change. The existence of different industries in major cities including Isfahan has added to this challenge. Science and Technology Parks that have had a growing trend in the country in recent years have helped meet these problems in each province. The knowledge-based companies and the startups that are supported in science parks have made great contribution in this regard and new technologies have developed in these entities. More details will be brought in this regard and the experience of Isfahan Science & Technology Town (ISTT) as a successful model will be elaborated briefly.
