Our industry experiences a major turnover throughout technological changes triggered by digitalization and the development of "industry 4.0". Thus also the industry of STPs faces major challenges in providing value to tenants as well as an innovative network. It is crucial for the future of STPs to tackle arising opportunities concerning strategy and infrastructure as well as evolving services in time. This paper emphasizes the opportunities of education for STPs throughout the example of Lakeside Park, Austria, were a consistent IT curriculum has been elaborated being applied in the whole line of education (age 3- 19) on the STPs campus. According to the curriculum the youngest in the park start in the »digital kindergarten« followed by pilot schools in the Educational Lab in primary and high school level. Major learning effects are expected for the next generation as well as significant benefits for STPs, tenants and the region.
